Research
This research sits on the three edges of one triad — Human, Environment, and Information — asking how people, environmental risk, and the information space shape each other.
01 Human × Environment
Research question: how do human behavior and environmental risk interact in space and time?
02 Environment × Information
Research question: how are nature and biodiversity perceived and represented in the information space?
03 Human × Information
Research question: how is knowledge structured across languages, platforms, and networks?

Language Disparities in Biodiversity Knowledge: Quantifying and Explaining Cultural Bias Using Multilingual Wikipedia and Large Language Models — JSPS KAKENHI Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (C), 26K09459, FY2026–2028, Principal Investigator. Quantifies biodiversity knowledge disparities across languages and cultural spheres for roughly 2,000 threatened species, using Wikipedia in 11 languages and large language models. Drives the Language Gaps in Biodiversity Knowledge project.
